Alice's Adventures in Wonderland

Alice falls down a well into a strange, fantastical world which seems to operate with the logic of a dream. She finds that she can become a giantess or a pygmy by nibbling alternate sides of a magic mushroom, and she has a series of remarkable adventures with the White Rabbit, the Cheshire Cat, the Mock Turtle, The Queen of Hearts, the Hatter, the March Hare, the Duchess, the Dormouse, and other bizarre, wonderful characters. Alice's adventures have made her the stuff of legend, the child heroine par excellence, and ensured that Lewis Carroll's book is one of the best loved and most widely read in children's literature.
